About Us

Inspired by Leah, Fueled by Faith

Leah’s Journal was born during the pandemic (2020) in Dubai, UAE — a time of deep uncertainty and challenge. I had just lost my job and was struggling financially, trying to support myself and my children back home in the Philippines. In that moment of hardship, I turned to my lifelong passion: drawing, painting, and crafting.

With just pens and colors in hand, I began creating handmade planners and designing notebook covers — no prints, just pure heart and handmade detail. To my surprise and gratitude, people began to support me, buying my creations and encouraging me to keep going. Their kindness helped me rebuild not just my livelihood, but my hope.

The name "Leah" comes from the Bible. Her story resonates deeply with me. Like Leah, I’ve experienced moments of feeling unseen and unloved. But her journey reminds us that God sees our pain and blesses our devotion. He values the beauty within our hearts, not just what’s on the outside. Leah’s story is one of transformation — from rejection to overwhelming blessing — and it mirrors my own testimony.

Through Leah’s Journal, I hope to inspire others who may be walking through their own valleys. Every product I make carries a piece of that story — a reminder that beauty can rise from brokenness, and that faith can turn trials into triumphs.
